I bought these to light up the three wooden steps leading down up to my porch. The warm white is soft and points mostly downward, which is nice because it doesn't blind you as you walk up. They seem to handle the rain fine and feel sturdy enough.
I was using the plastic one from quntis which was affordable and really good but recently upgraded to this beast and this one's so premium and build quality is super amazing, wireless remote makes it even more simpler to operate. Definately go for it

Overall, I quite like it. I use this to light my project table (4' x 18" or so). It's nearly perfect for that. To be honest I don't know why you'd want something like this at a computer desk, where it would just be a lot of pointless glare, but teach their own.
I really like being able to adjust the color temperature. It would be neat if it went into "warmer" (redder) temps but it's a useful range as-is. I haven't found a use-case for folding the side 'ears' in. I just leave them extended.
I think it would be even better if there were one more articulation point, right at the base. Even a chintzy one that I have to manually tension, would be totally fine at this price point. It would be handy for certain tasks.

Most cheap solar lights have that harsh bluish-white tint, but these are a true, pleasant warm white. It matches my existing backyard string lights perfectly and adds a nice ambiance to the deck.

Mostly good. But the mechanism to adjust the light source isn’t precise. I had to wedge it a small piece to hold it in place. Should have been a click lock kind of thing with multiple actuation points.
