Great product, one of the best I've seen on the market.
Bought the 8-pack for our patio and I'm happy with them. No wiring was needed, which made the installation much easier than traditional lights.
I installed four of these along our wooden fence and they look fantastic after dark. The colors are bright without being overwhelming, and I like being able to switch back to warm white when we aren't entertaining.
I use a 34-inch curved monitor and this light looks much more natural on it than the straight bar I had before. The two adjustable sections spread the light evenly across my keyboard and desk without shining directly onto the screen.
I use two 27-inch monitors side by side and this lamp easily covers the entire workspace. The wide three-section design is much better than a regular desk lamp because I can angle each side where I need more light.
The front light is comfortable on my eyes and the RGB glow behind the monitor looks really nice at night. I like that the RGB and front white light can be controlled separately instead of everything changing color together.
My desk isn't very deep, so a normal desk lamp was always in the way. Mounting the light on top of the monitor gives me back that space while still lighting my notebooks and keyboard.
I don't like using the main room light while gaming. The front light keeps the keyboard visible and the rear RGB gives enough ambient lighting so the room doesn't feel completely dark.
I have tried several small solar fence lights and most were only decorative. These actually throw enough light onto the fence to make a noticeable difference. The 100 lumen output is impressive for solar lights.
My old light bar mainly illuminated the center of my desk. This one spreads the light much farther across my keyboard and notebook. It works especially well with a wider monitor.
I originally bought this for the front desk lighting, but I ended up using the warm backlight almost every evening. It gives the wall behind my monitor a soft glow and makes the room feel much more comfortable when the main lights are off.
I wasn't sure how much I would use the radar sensor, but now it's one of my favorite features. I sit down and the light is ready, and I don't have to worry about leaving it on after walking away from my desk.
I often have printed notes next to my keyboard while studying. The warmer color temperature is much nicer at night than the bright white desk lamp I used before. It's bright enough for reading without making the whole room feel harsh.
The color modes are exactly what I wanted for seasonal decorations. Orange and purple around the garden look great for Halloween, and I can switch them back to normal white afterward instead of storing separate lights.
There are several adjustment options, so it took me a little while to remember the controls. Once I got used to it, changing brightness and warmth became easy. The actual lighting quality is excellent.
My previous monitor lamp only illuminated the middle of my keyboard. The dual-head design on this one reaches much farther to both sides, so my notebook and mouse area are finally well lit too.
My desk is pretty wide and a normal lamp always left one side darker. This one spreads the light across my keyboard, notebook and drawing area very evenly. It really works well for a larger workstation.
With an ultrawide monitor it's annoying to reach behind or above the screen every time you want to change something. The wireless controller solves that completely. I keep it beside my keyboard.
The lighting quality is great, but I'd recommend checking the back and top edge of your monitor before buying. My monitor has an unusual thick section on the back, so finding the best clamp position took a little experimentation.
Nothing complicated about these. Install them, leave them in the sun and they turn on at night. Exactly what I was looking for.
The remote is probably the feature I use most. I can adjust brightness and color temperature without reaching up to the monitor every time. It seems like a small thing but it's very convenient when you use the light every day.
I didn't specifically buy it for the light sensor, but I've ended up using auto dimming a lot. My office gets darker in the afternoon and the light adjusts without me having to constantly change it.
I originally thought I would mostly use the colorful modes, but the three white tones are just as useful. Warm white looks great on the patio while the brighter colors are fun when we have friends over.
I keep the controller beside my keyboard and use it constantly. Being able to change the brightness and warmth without reaching up to the monitor sounds minor, but it makes the lamp much more convenient.
There are several joints and it took me a few minutes to figure out the best position, but that flexibility is also what makes the lamp so useful. I can open it wide for work or fold the sides inward when I'm reading.
