Easy to install, I ordered 72 and installed them along my entire backyard. Depending on which panel your fence faces, the light will cut off due to the threads. You’ll see two picks of the front of a fence, and one with the backside. We placed an 1.5 inch block on the ones cut off for it to be able to shine to the ground. I hope these last a while!
I'm sprucing up our backyard for a family event this summer and was looking for a way to add some ambient lighting without going overboard or breaking the bank. I love these solar fence lights. I love all the color options and I love how easy they were to install using the little template in the instruction booklet.
Lots of ambiance. Looks great when looking into our back yard from inside at night. I used thick double sided gel tape to attach to cement bricks. Sooo easy to install. Buying more!
These remote control size lights are easily attached to whatever fence or wall that you would like with included screws and anchors.
The light it casts is not too strong nor is the intensity adjustable but I think it is perfect for ambience or for highlighting a step or other walking hazard.
The unit charges in the daylight (so it must have decent direct sun) and turns on automatically at dark. You can set the color (RGB and shades of white) with a button press but you need to do it one by one--there is no remote. They are well made, water resistant and seem like they will stand up to the weather without issue.
I find that the performance is really based on two factors: First, how much direct sun these can get and two, the quality of the batteries. As the batteries age, their capacity will diminish and while they probably can be replaced, I view these as a two year investment. Still at the price, it seems worth it to me.
Was skeptical! But for the price they made a great upgrade to the backyard! Not to bright but perfect to illuminate what we wanted.
